Art & Design

This is a collection of different art and design things I’ve done over the years. I don’t “own” all of it, having done some of it for third parties, but all of it is stuff I did, so I’m sharing here in my gallery.

This is an acrylic painting I did a couple years ago.

Tattoo flash I designed. I have this on my left forearm, actually. The French basically means, “I don’t give a damn.”

This is the logo I designed for the vintage scooter club I was one of the original three founding members of. According to my notes, this is the sixth version I produced. Most of the changes were subtle, but I had kept distinct versions of each generation in my archives. Almost all of my original designs related to the scooter club were lost in a computer transition, unfortunately.

This is a picture of one of the club patches I designed and had made. I had originally intended for the patch to be shield shaped, as in the original logo, but my supplier didn’t have that shape at the time. I liked the Maltese cross, though, and the patches came out excellent. It’s actually a four inch circle, it only looks oval in the picture because it was sewn on a jacket when I took the photo.

This is a logo I designed for a website I briefly maintained. A couple of different scooter club listings came and went, and mine was just another one. Still, I love this logo, and I think it’s one of the better ones I’ve designed. It would’ve looked great if I had made it a patch.

This is the last thing I ever produced for the scooter club before I quit. It’s a redesign of the circular patch logo, updated for use on a T-shirt using Photoshop skills sharpened since the early generation designs. The results were nice, though I never got around to buying one before I left.

More stuff as soon as I can find the CD it’s archived on.
