I feel – Tired, irritable
Here’s the deal: doctor says I need surgery on my knee. I’ve most likely torn my ACL, and maybe my miniscus in my left knee. I won’t know for sure until they do an MRI, which is something I cannot afford right now. The good news is that I’m now allowed to be active again! Just, you know, not to do a lot of jumping up and down and rapid direction changes. I’ve got to wear a hinged knee brace when I exercise, but it’s not so bad. I’ve gained back more weight than I would have liked, and I have to admit that between the lack of endorphines and the stress of school I’ve been in a slump. I’m looking to pick it back up, and lose what I got back and then some. To that end, I’m re-engaging in jogging, dieting and martial arts, starting this weekend. Also, I have pledged not to indulge in recreational alcohol consumption until I get down below two-hundred pounds. So I will only drink when it’s a social obligation (I know what I mean by this, so it’s OK), and then only as much as absolutely necessary to avoid being rude.
Also, I have no idea what is up with the body fat percentage thing this week. I think my scale is not anywhere near being right about it.
